A growing indoor cycling chain has just announced plans to open 3 new locations outside of New York. 14 month old Flywheel Sports is opening a new location in Chicago in June and locations in Miami and Atlanta in the 4th quarter of this year. Studios, which allow members to ride on high tech stationery bikes, can range in size from 1,000 to 4,000 square feet. The company currently operates 6 locations in Manhattan, Long Island and Boca Raton (opened earlier this month). The company is planning to add an additional 5 to 7 locations over the next three to five years throughout the U.S. and internationally.
