Simon Property Group is in the midst of a major renovation at Midland Park Mall in Midland, Texas.
The mall renovations will include new interior and exterior features/amenities such as the addition of children's soft play area; "innovative" flooring and added exterior benches, landscaping, lighting and monument signs at site entrances.
Specific renovation projects include:
- Redesign of the food court area, including new food court furniture
- Relocation of the food court restroom and addition of a family restroom to enhance customer convenience
- Carpeted soft seating areas added throughout the mall for customer comfort
- Redesign of the four existing mall entrances
- Addition of a new children's soft play area in the Sears wing to include soft seating and landscaping
- New directional signage throughout the mall
- New flooring installed throughout the mall
- Cosmetic upgrades to the texture and color palette of the entire property
- Upgrades to sections of the ceiling throughout the mall
- Addition of new exterior signage and landscaping at all vehicular entranceways
- Construction of a new pylon sign with added exterior directional monument/way finding signage.
Construction is scheduled to be completed by December 2011.
